How five members of Joe Biden’s family got rich through his connections
The New York Post By Peter Schweizer January 18, 2020
Political figures have long used their families to route power and benefits for their own self-enrichment. In my new book, “Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite,” one particular politician — Joe Biden — emerges as the king of the sweetheart deal, with no less than five family members benefiting from his largesse, favorable access and powerful position for commercial gain. In Biden’s case, these deals include foreign partners and, in some cases, even US taxpayer dollars.

Latvia Flagged ‘Suspicious’ Hunter Biden Payments in 2016
The Epoch Times By Zachary Stieber December 17, 2019 Updated
“According to publicly available information, Burisma Holding Limited and its director Hunter Biden are involved in corruption affair [sic],” the letter, reported by One America News on Dec. 15, stated.
Latvia said it traced $14.6 million received by Burisma from Wirelogic Technology AS as payments for loan agreements between July 2012 and July 2014. The money was “partially transferred” from a Burisma account to Biden and three colleagues, including fellow American Devon Archer, who also sat on Burisma’s board for a number of years.

James Biden got a sweet land deal from a lobbyist connected to his brother, Joe Biden
Politico's Ben Schreckinger reported Tuesday that Joe's brother, James, received an extremely favorable land deal from a lobbyist who has close ties to Joe and who has benefited from Joe Biden's advocacy for years. James Biden bought an acre of land in the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2005 for $150,000. He divided that acre of land into three parcels.

Biden Defends Son’s Appointment to Burisma Board: ‘He’s a Very Bright Guy’
National Review: Tobias Hoonhout February 3, 2020 11:23 AM
When Guthrie implied that Burisma had hired Hunter “because that company wanted access to you,” Biden became much more forceful.
“Well that’s not true, you’re saying things you do not know what you are talking about,” he stated. “No one said that. Who said that? Who said that?”
Biden then offered his own explanation as to why his son was hired, and refused to answer Guthrie’s question on “was it right.”
“He’s a very bright guy,” the Democratic presidential candidate stated. “He said he regretted having done it — he speaks for himself, he’s a grown man.”

Joe Biden’s Family Has Been Cashing in on His Career for Decades. Democrats Need to Acknowledge That.
The Intercept: Ryan Grim October 9 2019
The problem for Democrats is that a review of Hunter Biden’s career shows clearly that he, along with Joe Biden’s brother James, has been trading on their family name for decades, cashing in on the implication — and sometimes the explicit argument — that giving money to a member of Joe Biden’s family wins the favor of Joe Biden. Democrats have been loath to give any credibility to the wild rantings of Trump or his bagman Rudy Giuliani, leaving them to sidestep the question of Hunter Biden’s ethics or decision-making, and how much responsibility Joe Biden deserves.
Indeed, Biden has been taking political hits over of the intersection of his family’s financial dealings and his own political career for some four decades. Yet he has done nothing publicly to inoculate himself from the charge that his career is corruptly enriching his family, and now that is a serious liability.

Biden’s Brother Got $54 Million in Loans for Projects From Obama Admin
New American by Luis Miguel Wednesday, 22 January 2020
Frank Biden, former Vice President Joe Biden’s youngest brother, benefited greatly in his business dealings from tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded foreign aid under the Obama administration, according to a new book.
Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer details the overlap between Frank Biden’s business ventures and Obama-Biden policy in his latest book Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite.
Soon after the Obama administration took over, Frank Biden went on the search for real estate in Costa Rica, undaunted by a lack of professional background in international development and a history of legal troubles back in the states.

Joe Biden's Brother Secured Iraq Housing Construction Contract With No Experience
RealClear Politics By Tim Hains January 21, 2020
"Let's take the Iraq contracts for housing construction," he explained. "We don't know how much money was made by James Biden in that case, because he doesn't have to disclose, but here's what we know. This 'Hillstone' international company was set up, there was a meeting in the White House on November 4th, 2010, the only time the CEO of this company ever visited the White House, went to Joe Biden's office, literally three weeks later, James Biden was appointed vice president of that company, and then about three to six months later, they get this contract to build 100,000 homes in Iraq.

Hunter Biden's Burisma Post Had a Troubling Conflict, Watchdog Says
By Mark Hemingway, RealClearInvestigations November 19, 2019
Hunter Biden’s work at Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings included a little-noted conflict of interest that wouldn’t pass muster in the United States, an American investor watchdog group says: He served for pay on the company’s putatively independent governing board despite having also been paid as a consultant to company management.
The group’s study of Burisma also found that the pay of former Vice President Joe Biden’s son was more than 12 times comparable board pay at similarly sized companies.

Hunter Biden: The Most Comprehensive Timeline
The National ReviewBy Jim Geraghty September 30, 2019
From being appointed senior MBNA vice president (two years out of law school), to a gift of a 2.8-carat diamond from a Chinese energy tycoon, to Burisma Holdings . . .
Late Summer 2006: Hunter Biden and his uncle, James Biden, purchase the hedge fund Paradigm Global Advisors. According to an unnamed executive quoted in Politico in August, James Biden declared to employees on his first day, “Don’t worry about investors. We’ve got people all around the world who want to invest in Joe Biden.” At this time, Joe Biden is months away from becoming chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and launching his second bid for president.
